Got back to the ranch yesterday afternoon around 4:30 pm. Brought back some Chen's Chinese Food.
You haven't had Chinese food until theirs.  They have 3 locations one in San Tan Valley, one in Gilbert and one in Mesa. I love everything they make; but I brought back kung pao chicken, orange chicken and chicken fried rice with veggies. Of course Mesa has Autumn Moon that has been on Country Club north of Main ever since we moved here 30 years ago. Again everything they make is perfect but if I have to pick one, it's their pepper steak.

I had left the kids house yesterday [12/26] at 9:30 am and went to San Tan Valley and spent 3 hours with Sandy Woolhouse and her mother Bernice and got to see all Sandy's decorating....that woman!!!

Then I left there and drove over to Fujimoto's also in San Tan Valley and spent 2 hours with them. I hadn't seen them in a year. Had coffee and homemade Christmas cookies.

Then I left and headed north up Ellsworth and called Pearl and Lynn and was going to see about getting some Chinese food and go see them; but the 2 calls I made went to voice messaging saying it was full and couldn't leave a message so that's when I picked up the food and took it back to the ranch with me and Mike and ate it and have some for today too.

Later in the evening Pearl called me and said they had a couple of missed calls from me and I told her that I was going to leave a message but their voice mail was full so I couldn't. She said they didn't know how to clean their messages so I will have to see how to help them when I go over there.

We talked a bit because they were in Texas at the kids and would be coming back to Mesa today.
Going to Mesa from here is about 50 miles....like going to Williston with all the semis up there only here we have 5 lanes of bumper to bumper traffic unless you plan for right before or wait after rush hours are over. And even then it's pack because of the winter visitors.

I haven't heard if Marlene and Norm are down here in Havasu....will have to check with Pearl when they get here.

If everyone is as tired and full of food as I am you had to have had a mighty good Christmas!!
We send our love & prayers to all of you!
Now Happy New Year!!!
