Are you—or do you know someone who is—vexed by a
constant, unrelenting and often distracting ringing in the
ears?
Tinnitus. I, for one, have had a high-pitched, steam-radiator
sound hissing in my noggin for as long as I can remember
and was often told by doctors that the cause is unknown and
nothing can be done about it.
At one time, this was true, but no more. Various strategies
have been out there that can make tinnitus easier to deal with
while a cure is being sought. So if you, like me, are sick of
Hell's bells ringing in your ears, there's hope.
